Where you are conducting underground works including: foundations, slab design, substructure and ground bearing floors, due consideration must be given to preventing water ingress whether in liquid or vapour form.

In particular, BS8102:2009 Code of Practice for Protection on Below Ground Structures and NHBS Standards Chapter 5.1 should be met at all times.
